Nelson, Gloria, 1921-
Gloria Nelson and her husband were selected during the second drawing for a block of land in the newly opened Columbia Basin Project in 1953. The family settled on the desolate 80-acre tract southwest of Othello in Adams County and lived in nearly primitive conditions.
