Wilcox, Charles J., 1930-
Variant names1st Lieutenant Charles J. Wilcox received his commission through the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) program at his undergraduate institution. On 1 January 1951, he was activated and reported to Camp Breckenridge, Kentucky. Wilcox was assigned to Korea in 1952 as a replacement to K, then M Company, 3rd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. During late 1952, he also served as second in command of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Leadership School. On 31 March 1953 he was discharged at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Wilcox received his Ph.D. at Rutgers University through the G. I. Bill.
