Peter Epinette was born in Europe Sept. 24, 1760. He became a member of the Society of the Faith of Jesus (Paccanarists) and in 1805 was received into the Society of Jesus. Sent to the U.S. in 1806, he served at Newtown, Md., Georgetown, D.C., and Bohemia Manor, Md., dying there on Jan. 8, 1832.
