Ferrell, John A. (John Atkinson), 1880-1965
Variant namesJohn Atkinson Ferrell was a teacher, public school administrator, and a county health superintendent in North Carolina before joining the Rockefeller Sanitary Commission (1910-1913). He then became associate director of the International Health Division of The Rockefeller Foundation (1914-1944).
