Kachline, Cliff,
Cliff Kachline wrote and edited for The Sporting News (1943-1967). He was the Public Relations Director for the North American Soccer League from 1967-mid-1969. He then became Historian at the National Baseball Hall of Fame (1969-1982). He served as the Executive Director of SABR from 1969-1985. Lefty Gomez played for the New York Yankees (1930-1942) and the Washington Nationals of the American League (1943). He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972.
