The National Women's Caucus for Art is part of the College Art Association. An exhibition on Afro-American Women Artists was to be held in conjunction with CAA's Annual meeting, 1979. Emily Martin and Tritobia Benjamin were co-curators. The exhibition was cancelled due to lack of funding.
