Baker, Ethel W. (Ethel Winifred), 1884-1941
Ethel Winifred Baker lived in Bristol, attended Clifton High School, and remained active in the Old Girls' Society. She wrote plays, novels, and poetry, including "Dowry Square" (1936), "Rose of the Spirit: Unison Song" (1931), and "Penelope", (1939). Ethel Baker died in Bristol in February 1941, and was buried at St. Andrews' Church, Clifton - now Church Walk.
