Boston North End Mission.
The Boston North End Mission began in 1862 as the Hanover Home Mission Society, a Methodist affiliated chapel and sunday school, providing a variety of services from their building on North Street, including a temporary refuge for "wayward" women and a temporary home for children. Later it was exclusively a child welfare agency. It merged with the Children's Aid Association in 1928.
