Webb, Nathan, 1825-1902
Variant namesWebb graduated from Harvard College in 1846. He read law with John Rand, Esq. and was admitted to the Maine bar in 1848. He practiced in Portland (1849-1865) and turned to state attorney positions eventually becoming U.S. District Attorney (1878-1882). President Arthur nominated Webb to the U.S. District Court judgeship in 1882.
