Weil was born in 1873 in Montgomery, Montgomery Co., Ala. She was the wife of Sidney G. Weil, and they had one daughter and one son. She was the co-author with Mrs. Charles Moritz, of Twentieth Century Cook Book, and wrote numerous newspaper and magazine articles. She served as vice-president of the Montgomery (Ala.) Museum of Fine Arts, was a member of Temple Beth-Or, and participated in numerous other organizations, the most significant of which are detailed in the scope and content note.
