Biography

The three Young Brothers, Edwin, Jacob, and Daniel left Indiana for California in 1852. They mined gold at Indian Canyon and Roaches Hill in Placer County. Jacob returned to Indiana in 1853, dying in 1855. Daniel was still in California in 1856.
