Carrington, Fitz Roy, 1869-1954
Variant namesFitz Roy Carrington first met Carl Zigrosser when the latter was hired by Frederick Keppel & Co. Their correspondence began when Carrington became curator of prints at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and Zigrosser went to Weyhe Gallery. Their friendship continued after Carrington went back to a commercial print dealer, M. Knoedler & Co., and on into Carrington's retirement.
