Frost, Joseph H. (Joseph Henry), 1805-1864
Variant namesReverend Joseph H. Frost, Methodist missionary, was born March 5, 1805 in Rochester, New York. Following his religious training, Frost came to Oregon and, with the assistance of Daniel Lee, established a Methodist mission on the Clatsop Plains. He resigned his position in 1843 and returned to the East. Joseph Henry Frost died in 1864.
