Variant namesDr. D. Warren Brickell of New Orleans was a nationally known gynecologist, founder and dean of the New Orleans School of Medicine, and editor of numerous medical journals. His interest in public affairs is reflected in his newspaper articles on political reform, published during Reconstruction.
