Alger, Louisa Taylor, 1866-1962.
Louisa Taylor Alger was the wife of Philip R. Alger, naval officer. Alger translated several naval books from French and wrote one on naval gunnery, was a professor of mathematics at the U.S. naval Academy and Secretary of the Naval Institute.
