Wilson, Henry Braid, 1861-1954
Variant namesHenry Braid Wilson was born February 23, 1861. He received his commission as Ensign in the U.S. Navy in 1883, and advanced to the rank of admiral in 1919. He was named Commander in Chief of the Atlantic Fleet in 1919, and served as Superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy from 1921 to 1925. Wilson died on January 30, 1954.
