Kinney, Jack C., 1872-1949
Biographical note: Rancher and owner of La Osa Live Stock & Loan Co.; Jack Kinney came to Arizona in 1913. In 1915, along with other associates, he purchased the La Osa Live Stock & Loan Co.. At one time, Kinney's ranches and land holdings encompassed over 300,000 acres in southern Arizona.

Arizona rancher and owner of La Osa Livestock Company; Kinney was also active in the Republican Party in Montana and Arizona, served as Pima County supervisor from 1928 to 1932, and ran unsuccessfully for governor of Arizona in 1932. He was involved in civic activities including the annual rodeo, the Tucson Sunshine Climate Club and the Arizona Polo Association.
