• 1900: Gudbrand J. Lomen and Carl J. Lomen embark for Nome.
• 1903: The other members of the Lomen family, with the exception of George, arrive in Nome.
• 1914: formation of Lomen and Company on August 13, 1914 to commercially raise and market reindeer.

• 1929 - 1935 : Canadian Drive commences with the signing of a contract with the Canadian government, and terminates with the delivery of 2,382 reindeer to the Canadian authorities.
• 1930: subsidiary companies organized with the Lomen Reindeer Corporation as the "holding company" for Lomen Reindeer Corporation, Arctic Transport Company, Alaska Livestock and Packing Company, and Nunivak Development Company.
• 1934: Gudbrand J. Lomen dies.
• 1937: U.S. House of Representatives passes and appropriation bill of $2,000,000 to purchase the reindeer herds of non-native owners.
• 1940: U.S. Department of Interior, Charles Burdick agent, purchases the Lomen herds.
• 1947: George Lomen dies.
• 1950: Alfred Lomen dies.
• 1951: Mrs. Gudbrand (Julie) Lomen dies.
• 1965: Carl J. Lomen dies.
