Thomas, Isaac, 1774-1859.
Isaac Thomas was active as a politician, lawyer and planter. He moved to Alexandria, La., in 1819, where he operated a steamboat, a sawmill and a large plantation. He was a Democratic member of the Louisiana State Senate (1823-27).
