Richthofen, Manfred, Freiherr von, 1892-1918
Variant namesGermany's top aviator in WWI, know as the Red Baron or the Red Knight because of the colour of his plane. He became a hero to the German public shooting down 80 enemy aircraft before he was killed in action.
