Hebert Brothers Meat Market.
The Food Rationing Program was instituted in the United States in 1942, giving the federal government control over the food supply during World War II. Hebert Bros. Meat Market operated in Morganza, Pointe Coupee Parish, La., and was licensed by the United States Dept. of Agriculture to participate in the production of meat to be rationed and sold under this program.
