Preston C. LeBlanc of Erath, La., was a member of a prominent family of Vermilion Parish, who served as the Sergeant-at-Arms of the Louisiana State Senate. LeBlanc married Floris M. Showers of Gulfport, Miss. in the fall of 1925. Before their marriage, Herbert Hutchins of Hammond, Ind. also courted her.
