International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace, and Agricultural Implement Workers of America. Local 807 (Burlington, Iowa)
Local 807 was organized by workers at the J.I. Case Company in Burlington, Iowa in 1940 against heavy company resistance. The National War Labor Board had to order Case to recognize the union. Local 807 went on strike in 1942, and 1946 and then avoided another formal strike until 1974.
