SOA Watch (Organization)
Variant namesThe School of the Americas (SOA), in 2001 renamed the "Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation," (WHISC) is a combat training school for Latin American soldiers, located at Fort Benning, Georgia. The SOA Watch monitors the work of the SOA/WHISC. It was founded in 1990 by Father Roy Bourgeois.
