Universalist minister and missionary to Japan. Minister in Auburn, N.Y. (1916-1918) and Little Falls, N.Y. (1918-1924). From 1924 until his death in 1936, Cary served the Universalist Church mission in Japan. His wife, Maude Cary, was also an ordained Universalist minister and served several churches in New York state before going to Japan.
