Frances Crawford Holmes was born December 25, 1916; graduated from Wheaton College, 1938; married Robert Holmes, August 24, 1940, and had two children; served with husband as missionary, substitute teacher, house mother, director of Jaffna College choir, and with the Christian Literature Society.
