Elinore Blaisdell is a noted author and illustrator of children's books. She studied art in London at the Slade School of Art and in New York. In 1939 she won the Julia Ellsworth Ford Foundation Award for best children's book manuscript with her work 'Falcon Fly Rack'. In addition to illustrating books, Miss Blaisdell also teaches art at the The Art Career School in New York City.
