Smith, Louise Aloys.
Louise Aloys Smith is a native of Lovelock, Nevada. She served in the United States Women's Army Corps during World War II and was the first woman elected to a public office in Pershing County, Nevada. She served in the Nevada State Assembly, 1949-1952 and during her second term served as speaker pro tem.
