Horne, William D., 1892-1986.
Chicago businessman and Princeton graduate who served with Ernest Hemingway in the American Red Cross volunteer ambulance service in Schio, Italy, during World War I.
After returning from Italy, Horne and Hemingway shared an apartment in 1920 in Chicago, and the two remained close friends throughout their lives.
