Conway, Mike
In 2003, Mike Conway, then an instructor in the University of Texas at Austin’s School of Journalism, interviewed largely unknown CBS News employees regarding the network’s news department during the 1940s for his dissertation. The project then formed the core of Conway’s book The Origins of Television News in America: The Visualizers of CBS in the 1940s .
