Upper Louviers was a mansion located on the east bank of the Brandywine Creek in Brandywine Hundred, Del., opposite the powder mills of E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Company. It was supposedly built ca. 1802 by Peter Bauduy, one of the original partners of E.
