Bruno J. Rolak was a United States (U.S.) Army officer, historian and professor. He served in the Army from 1941 to 1962 and retired with the rank of lieutenant colonel. Rolak received a Ph. D. in history from Indiana University in 1967 where he specialized in military history. He taught history at the University of Texas at El Paso from 1967 to 1970 and then served as post historian and museum director at Fort Huachuca from 1970 to 1972. Rolak became command historian, United States Army Communications Command in 1972.
