Roberts, Joseph, 1742-1826
Joseph Roberts, a Quaker, was a member of the Evesham and Chester Monthly Meetings. He was born to Joshua Roberts and Rebecca Stokes on the 19th of the 9th Mo. 1742. In 1771 Roberts married Susanna Coles, daughter of Kendall and Anna Coles; the couple had 9 children together. He died February 22 1826.
