Mormon pioneer John Haslem Clark was born in Iowa in 1842. He traveled across the plains to Salt Lake with his family and later moved to Manti where he met his wife, Therissa Emerita Cox, and lived there until he died in 1929. THerissa Clark was born 1849 in Iowa and moved with her family to Manti. There she lived the remainder of her life.
