Founded in 1970, the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs is a graduate school at the University of Texas at Austin. Offering degrees of Masters of Public Affairs (MPAff), Masters of Global Policy Studies (MPGS), and a PhD in Public Policy, the school prepares students for leadership roles in governmental and non-governmental organizations in the private and non-private sectors. Commencement speakers have included former Texas Governor Ann Richards, 41st U.S. President George H. W. Bush, and American journalist Bill Moyers.
