Phalansterian Realization Fund Society.
Trustees were James Kay, Horace Greeley, Henry James, Francis G. Shaw, Marcus Spring, Edmund Tweedy, and James T. Fisher and each contributed from $2500-$5000 to the investment fund in support of "agricultural, industrial, and educational purposes." The society appears to have been related to the North American Phalanx, which Horace Greely co-founded as a utopian community in 1841.
