A long-time resident of Chicago, Ill., Jan Świerczyński (1892- ) was a member of the Polish Falcons of America (Pittsburgh, Penn.), the American Committee for Resettlement of Polish displaced persons, and the Polish Veterans in Exile Association, Circle #5 (Chicago, Ill.). He was also a contributor to many Polish causes and organizations in the midwest and abroad.
