Communications Workers of America. East Tennessee Office.
Founded in 1947 as a reorganization of the National Federation of Telephone Workers Union, joined the CIO Telephone Workers Organization Committee in 1949, and closed its East Tennessee-Kentucky regional office in 1980.
East Tennessee office was responsible for conducting its regional constituency's negotiations with respect to pay, wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
