Biographical notes:
William Matlack was a Quaker associated with Burlington County, New Jersey and Evesham Monthly Meeting. He was born on the 15th day of the 5th month, 1752, the son of William and Mary Matlack. He had 9 siblings, Atlantic, John, Reuben, Jane, Samuel, Rebekah, Joseph, George, and Mary. He had served in some capacity during the American Revolution and died on the 12th day of the 10th month, 1805 in Chester county, Pennsylvania.
