Biographical notes:

Isaac Andrews was a Quaker minister from Burlington County, N.J. He was born to Edward and Sarah (Ong) Andrews around 1715 in Little Egg Harbor, N.J. He was apprenticed to Jonathan Wright, near Burlington, N.J. He married Elizabeth Elfreth; the two settled at Mt. Holly, N.J., for about 5 months, then moved to Haddonfield, N.J. He was recognized as a minister as a minister in 1740. In 1746 he traveled with John Woolman to Pennsylvania, Virginia, and the Carolinas. In 1769, he went with Ephraim Tomlinson to some meetings near Egg Harbour, N.J. He died on 15 December 1775, at Haddonfield, N.J., at the age of 60.
