Babe Ruth played for the Boston Red Sox (1914-1919), New York Yankees (1920-1934), and the Boston Braves (1935). Ruth pitched for the Red Sox (1914-1919). After his playing career, Ruth spent one season as a coach with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936. George M. Weiss was the Vice President of the New York Yankees.
