Biographical notes:
The Box Elder County Farm Labor Association was affiliated with the Utah State University Cooperative Extension Service and with local government agencies in Box Elder County, Utah. The association operated as the contracting agent for migrant labor working in the sugar beet, canning, and fruit crops in the county. It also worked with federal and state agencies to provide adequate housing for migratory workers and acted as labor agents for the employment of Native American youth attending the Intermountain School in Brigham City, Utah.
