Biographical notes:

Eugene du Pont, Jr., was born on July 7, 1873, the second son of Eugene du Pont and Amelia Elizabeth du Pont. He attended St. Paul's School in Concord, N.H. Subsequently he was an executive in E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company, of which his father was president, and also vice president of the Standard Stoker Company, a manufacturer of automatic stokers for locomotives. He died on December 15, 1954.
