Biographical notes:

For Gay, Worcester, and Swanton family history see earlier accessions. Mary Augusta Byram (1803- ) was related to the Gays and Worcesters through her mother, Margaret (Gay) Byram. She was a resident of Gardiner, Maine, and the recipient of many letters from her Byram, Gay, and Worcester relatives.
