Biographical notes:

American journalist and foreign correspondent Victor Heine Bernstein worked for several newspapers. He is best known as a foreign editor of PM newspaper, covering World War II: the prewar persecution of the Jews in Germany and Austria, the collapse of Germany, the liberation of the concentration camps, and the Nuremberg trial. He was also managing editor for the Nation and author of the book Final Judgment, The Story of Nuremberg.
