Newspaper Enterprise Association and United Feature Syndicate are divisions of United Media, the information and entertainment company that develops and markets 150 comic strips and editorial features worldwide, including Peanuts, Marmaduke, Dilbert, The Born Loser, Miss Manners, Jack Anderson, Harvey Mackay, and Nat Hentoff. By 1955, NEA served 41 of the top 50 newspaper markets in the country. NEA today has some 600 newpaper subscribers in the United States and Canada.
