Holley Manufacturing Company
Biographical notes:
Manufacturer of pocket cutlery and related products founded 1844 in Lakeville, Conn., as Holley and Merwin; name later changed to Holley & Company, and in 1854 incorporated as Holley Manufacturing Company; in 1925 headquarters moved to Torrington, Conn., with factory remaining in Lakeville; dissolved 1946.
