From the opera in 3 acts with libretto by Michel-Jean Sedaine. First performance Comédie Italienne, Paris, 6 March 1769. This edition 1963, hand-copied from old engraved parts first published by John Johnston in London, 18th century. Title page of this score is a reproduction from the Johnston edition engraved First Violin part.--Cf. Fleisher Collection.
