O'Toole, Lela
Biographical notes:
O'Toole (1909-1995) was born near Thomas, Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma Baptist University. She received her bachelor's and master' degrees in home economics education from Oklahoma A & M College and Ph. D. from Ohio State University. Her career highlights included: district and state supervisor of home economics in Oklahoma (1941-1947), professor of home economics education (1949-50), regional supervisor of home economics in the U.S. Office of Education in Washington D.C., dean of Division of Home Economics at OSU (1951-1975), and a member of the board of the Ford Foundation-OSU Pakistan Cooperative Program (1957-1972).
