Lunt, Sally Herman

Social worker, educator, psychotherapist and mediator, Sally H. Lunt graduated from Hood College (A.B.), Simmons College School of Social Work (M.S.), Harvard University (Ed.D) and Massachusetts of College of Law (J.D.) After serving as a caseworker at Massachusetts General Hospital (1960-1963), she taught at Boston University School of Social Work (1965-1978), and had a private practice in psychotherapy (1964-1995). Beginning in 1996 she served as a mediator in the Boston-area Consumer Assistance Office Metrowest.
One of the founders of the National Women's Political Caucus in 1971, Lunt was national vice-chair, and served on a number of committees and boards. She was also chair of the Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus and was chair of the state delegation to the National Women's Conference (IWY) in Houston in 1977.
